Juan Novoa is the commercial project estimator for EDI Landscape, LLC. He is currently working on finishing his Bachelors in Construction Management at Central Connecticut State University with a background in civil and mechanical engineering.
Juan has estimated projects that range from $20,000 to over $1 million. Juan joined EDI in April 2015 and is responsible for maintaining relationships with vendors and general contractors, managing invitations to bid, coordinating bids, preparing submittals and compiling information in regards to scope sheets and construction documents to formulate a coherent budget. Juan has gained experience estimating various project types including, retail, university, mixed-use developments, offices, hospitality, healthcare and industrial complexes.
Matthew Duval joined EDI Landscape in 1996 where he began his career in landscape construction. His expertise and passion for excellence is what helps make EDI Landscape a leader amongst landscape contractors in this region. He oversees all projects and serves as the day-to-day contact with the client, subcontractors and staff.
Matthew has hands-on experience and has mastered the art of hardscapes, including the installation of ponds, walls and walkways as well as a deep knowledge of landscape, plants and gardens for both residential and commercial projects. He manages all phases of the project, including planning, communications, supervision, execution and completion. Moe ensures that projects are implemented effectively within cost, schedule, quality and safety parameters. He manages subcontracts, material requisitions, and change orders as well as provides input to support accurate and timely budgets, cost estimates, and pre-construction services.
OSHA 30 certified, Matthew has implemented a safety program to assure a sustained safe and healthy work environment for all team members. He has extensive knowledge of fertilizers and pesticides and holds a pesticide applicator license.
Vijay Rodrigues is the Project Engineer and Estimator for EDI Landscape, LLC. He is an experienced project estimator with a well-established history of work in the construction industry. Experienced in Estimating and Designing Commercial Irrigation system, Structural Concrete Estimation, and Construction Processes with a Bachelor of Construction Management from Central Connecticut and a Associates in Architectural and Design.
